The The staging of Questi fantasmi!, the masterpiece by Eduardo, marks the return of Elledieffe, Luca De Filippo’s company which is now directed by Carolina Rosi, following the premature death of its founder. The play, following Napoli Milionaria!, is the second from the Cantata dei giorni dispari series. Eduardo was probably inspired by an episode involving his father, Eduardo Scarpetta. The latter in fact explains that his family, in financial difficulty, was suddenly forced to leave their home. The father quickly managed to find a new home, which seemed exceptional, and which cost very little to rent. A few days later all became clear: the house was occupied by an impertinent fairy, a “little monk”...
