I love my hair! is a reading and figure theatre workshop for rebellious children. Based on the reading of the book of the same name by Natasha Tarpley and on the creation of puppets, the workshop focuses on education against stereotypes and the empowerment of children from non-native backgrounds.
I love my hair! is a classic children's’ book that for the last 20 years has been encouraging children to love their own features and their creativity.
In the story, the little Keyana tells of when her mother combs aher hair, leading the reader in a journey to discover their beauty and their magic. Each time, her hair is transformed into plants, musical instruments, planets, wings, etc... Children will be encouraged to use puppets to create episodes that, drawing cues from the theme of hair and the body, challenge stereotypes and allow them to develop strategies to fight injustices that they have suffered or seen.

Razzismo Brutta Storia is an association that works to fight racism and discrimination through cultural, educational and advocacy initiatives. Founded in the wake of the racial murder of the nineteen-year-old Italian Abdel William Guibre, known as Abba, in 2008 in Milan, Razzismo Brutta Storia creates educational courses, produces materials and promotes campaigns on the theme of rights. It is based in Milan but operates throughout the country and is part of the European Network Against Racism (ENAR).

The workshop, which forms part of the cycle of events Ogni volta unica la fine del mondo, aligns with the philosophy behind sostenere lo sguardo, proposing a collective exercise in perception. As spectators and artists, we ask ourselves how we can aid our planet by looking at it through different eyes; how to focus attention on events, objects and living creatures in order to assess our relationship with the world from foreign and wild points of view.
