I already have an account on piccoloteatro.org, why do I have to confirm my email?
From 1 July 2016, the new Piccolo Teatro di Milano website will be online. To make the website even more secure, if you are logging on for the first time, we would like to ask you to dedicate two minutes of your time to confirm your email and update your password.
This allows us to respect the most up-to-date standards of security and guarantee the highest levels of safety for your personal data.
For successive visits you will be able to log in normally with the username and password that you have chosen.

I’m a new user, how do I register for the website?
To register for the website, click on the log in button that you will find in the top right-hand menu:

Follow the instructions on the page and fill in the requested fields (we will ask you for some compulsory information and some information which is optional).
In order to complete the registration process, choose a username (which can be different from your email) and a password of at least eight characters which contains at least one number. This data will be required in order to access the site.
In a few minutes you will receive an email with which you can verify the address that you provided: click on the link in the message to activate your account and begin navigating and purchasing on the website.
What do I do in order to receive the newsletter and promotions regarding the Piccolo Teatro?
In order to receive the best promotional offers on shows via email, choose the following option during the registration process:
“I would like to receive informative and promotional emails regarding shows and activities organised by the Piccolo Teatro di Milano”.
If you would like to receive communications regarding eventual modifications or cancellations regarding shows, select the option:
“I would like to receive service emails informing me of cancellations, modifications or changes to the shows and the activities organised by the Piccolo Teatro di Milano”.
If you do not select this option we will be unable to send you information via email regarding important modifications to the shows you have purchased.
You may express different preferences for the two services.
How can I cancel my address from the mailing list and not receive any more promotional emails?
You can modify the state of subscription to the newsletter service at any time from your personal profile.
Once you have logged in, access your profile and click on the button “Modify your personal data” in order to change your preferences in the “Newsletter” section.
How can I modify my email address?
You can modify your email address at any time by accessing your profile, entering the new address and confirming.
How can I cancel my profile?
In order to cancel your profile, write an email to servizioalpubblico@piccoloteatromilano.it indicating your username and email.
We would like to remind you that it is not possible to purchase tickets, access promotions or use your subscription online without a valid active account.
Purchase and promotions
Where can I buy tickets for the Piccolo Teatro?
You can buy directly from our website or by calling the box office line on +39 02 42 411 889, or from the box office at the Teatro Strehler, largo Greppi 1 (Lanza metropolitan station, Line M2). Click here for further information.
In case of a show scheduled at the Teatro Strehler, since one hour before its start (for example, at 7.30 pm for a show scheduled at 8.30 pm) the theatre box office is allowed to sale tickets for possibile available seats for that particular performance only.
Teatro Grassi and Teatro Studio Melato box offices are open only in the event of a show, from an hour before the start.
How do I purchase tickets at special discounted rates for youngsters or senior citizens?
To purchase tickets at special rates for youngsters (up to the age of 25) or senior citizens (65 or over), you can contact our box office line on +39 02 42 411 889 or buy them directly from the box office at the Teatro Strehler, largo Greppi 1 (Lanza metropolitan station, Line M2): Click here for further information.
It is not possible to purchase special rate tickets for youngsters or senior citizens online.
What do I do if I receive a promotion via email?
If you have received a promotion via newsletter from the “Piccolo Teatro di Milano” (from the email address community@piccoloteatro.org) you can access the promotion by simply clicking on the buttons with the dates on offer: choose your preferred seat from the seating plan and proceed with your confirmation and payment.
How do I purchase from the website?
On our website you can buy tickets for a show up to an hour before its start (for example, until 7.30 pm for a show scheduled at 8.30 pm on the same day). It is possible to buy a show less than an hour from its beginning at the theatre box office only (Teatro Strehler, Teatro Grassi or Teatro Studio Melato, depending on the show): in case of availability of seats it will be possible to purchase full price tickets or special rates for youngsters (up to the age of 26) and senior citizens (65 or over).
Before starting the purchase procedure, we advise you to log in: insert the data that you indicated during the registration process in the “username/email” and “password” fields. Once the access procedure has been successfully completed you will see your name in the top right in the website navigation bar.
If you have not registered or logged in when you choose your desired tickets or subscription, you will be asked to do so before proceeding with payment.
If you wish to purchase tickets, choose the show you are interested in among those shown on the home page, or by consulting the full list from the “Shows” menu on the upper left. If there are still places available, you will be able to click on the red “purchase” button. On the screen that follows, choose the date of the performance that you prefer and then the seats that you would like to purchase.
The performances and seats shown in grey are not available.
Below the seating plan you will see an initial summary of your selected seats.
Once you have finished choosing your seats you may repeat the operation for other shows or click directly on “view basket”: check that the tickets or subscriptions selected are correct, and choose a payment method: you can choose a different method for each ticket, from credit card, subscription or Piccolo Card Points.
- The “Credit Card” option (in green) is always available for the purchase of tickets and is selected by default in the case of subscription purchase.
- The “Piccolo Card Points” option (in blue) is available for the purchase of tickets when you have at least 15 active points from our loyalty programme. Read the section “Print tickets and Piccolo Card points” for further information on our loyalty programme or click here to read the regulations.
- The subscription option (in red) is available if you have active subscriptions on your personal profile and you still have valid vouchers for the chosen show. Subscriptions dedicated to schools, organised groups, and those received as gift, cannot be used on the website.

How do I choose the seats I want to buy from the seating plan?
If you are using a PC or a Mac, all you have to do in order to select the desired seats (shown in orange or purple) is click once.
If instead you are purchasing from a mobile device (smartphone or tablet with Windows or Android operating system) all you have to do is touch once on the desired seat. If however you are using an Apple device (iPad or iPhone) you need to touch the desired seat twice.
In order to purchase subscriptions, all you have to do is indicate the quantity desired and proceed with the payment.
How do I reserve seats using vouchers from my subscription?
If you have a valid subscription for the show you wish to see, you can choose to use it as a payment method at the moment of purchase. Access the website with the email address that you used when you purchased your subscription and select it as a payment method in your shopping basket before proceeding with the confirmation of the purchase. Your subscription must have remaining vouchers and must be valid for the chosen show.
Subscriptions dedicated to schools, organised groups and the Lehman Card cannot be used on the website.
Alternatively you can call the box office line on +39 02 42 411 899, communicating your subscription code (consisting of 10 alphanumeric characters) or by taking your subscription directly to the box office at the Teatro Strehler, largo Greppi 1 (Lanza metropolitan station, Line M2)
How do I purchase with Piccolo Card Points?
After logging in, make sure by checking your personal profile that you have at least 15 active points on your Piccolo Card: click here to check the loyalty programme regulations.
The “Piccolo Card Points” option (in blue) will be available in your shopping basket for the purchase of shows valid for subscription holders at the price of € 5.
We would like to remind you that tickets purchased with points and tickets from special promotions (OreSette, ViviMilano, special reductions) do not qualify for the earning of other points
How do I reserve with the “Invito a Teatro” subscription?

How do I reserve places for performances reserved for schools, morning performances or use subscriptions reserved for organised groups?

Payment methods
How can I pay for tickets and subscriptions?
Tickets and subscriptions can be purchased directly from the ticket office at the Teatro Strehler, largo Greppi 1 (Lanza metropolitan station, Line M2) with cash, debit card or credit card, while purchases via the box office line, on +39 02 42 411 889 and online can only be made by credit card.
I am having problems entering my credit card details, what can I do?
On the payment page we recommend you click on “PayPal”.

On the successive page, if you do not have a PayPal account, click on “pay with a credit card”.
The operation is free of charge and requires no registration.
Alternatively, if you have a PayPal account you can access this directly with your log in details.

Follow the instructions and complete the purchase.
What happens when I complete my purchase?
If the purchase is successfully concluded, you will see a confirmation message on the website.
For that moment your tickets will be available on your profile.
After a few minutes you will receive two emails: one from your credit card company, which is a valid receipt for the transaction, and the other from “Piccolo Teatro di Milano” containing a link for the printing of the purchased tickets or subscriptions.
We would like to remind you that the confirmation email does not represent a valid form of access to the auditorium. As always, follow the instructions in the confirmation email to correctly print your tickets or use your subscription.
If your purchase is valid for loyalty points, the same confirmation email will contain information regarding your Piccolo Card.

What do I do if I don’t receive my tickets via email?
If you don’t receive the email with the tickets, check your spam folder in your email: if it is there, move the email received into your inbox in order to receive future communications without difficulty.
Once you have logged in your tickets will always be available from your personal profile.

What can I do if I am unable to print my tickets?
If you are unable to print you can show your tickets on your smartphone for admission, or alternatively you can pick them up on the day of the performance (30 minutes before the beginning) from the theatre box office by giving your name, surname and the email address used during purchase.
I haven’t received the Piccolo Card points related to my purchase, what should I do?
For all problems regarding the receipt of Piccolo Card points, you can send an email to servizioalpubblico@piccoloteatromilano.it providing details of the purchase for which you are requesting assistance.
