Tramedautore - Who the fuck started all this – Hurtling stillness

    Teatro Grassi
    on 17 September 2016

Dejan Dukovski is one of the most interesting writers from the new generation. A first-hand witness of the Balkan war, he describes its consequences in a play which is divided into seven moments, each one inhabited by a grotesque microcosm of desperate characters who represent all of the explosive potential of a situation which is permanently on the brink of violence.

Tramedautore - Il colore del sole

    Teatro Grassi
    on 18 September 2016

Loosely based on Andrea Camilleri’s novel of the same name, the play interweaves episodes from the seventeenth century - with Caravaggio’s flight from Malta - with modern-day situations which see the same Sicilian writer among the characters.

A Norwegian playwright and writer of works for theatre, radio and television, Jon Jesper Halle is considered, along with Jon Fosse, to be the heir of the Ibsen tradition. Lilleskogen is a poetic drama which interweaves good and evil in a world without borders. The work by Joele Anastasi plays on memory, reliving those moments in which one passes from childhood to adulthood.

    Teatro Grassi
    on 20 September 2016

Philipp Löhle, born in 1978, is one of the most interesting German writers of the latest generation. In “It is the wind that makes the flag”, he overturns the idea of a “happy” Germany, speaking of how the crisis, both economic and non, can completely overturn the destiny of an apparently perfect family.
