This week at the Piccolo!
Debuting on Tuesday 21 November at the Teatro Grassi, the new production by the Piccolo Teatro, “Fine pena: ora” based on the book by Elvio Fassone, directed by Mauro Avogadro and written by @Paolo Giordano, with @Sergio Leone and @Paolo Pierobon.
“Dieci storie proprio così” by Emanuela Giordano and Giulia Minoli returns in an updated version thanks to the contribution of @Assolombarda. At the Teatro Studio from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 November.
All sold out for the international play “The Cherry Orchard”, directed by Lev Dodin, at the Teatro Strehler from Thursday 23 to Sunday 26 November.
A week rich with events: today, Monday 20 November, at 6.30 p.m. in the Scatola Magica at the Teatro Strehler, the event “Ciro Fontana - Omaggio al poeta e commediografo milanese nel centenario della sua nascita” by Filippo Crivelli, with the participation of Paolo Bertesaghi. An event to examine the themes of the play “Fine pena: ora” on Wednesday 22 November at the Chiostro Nina Vinchi, at 5 p.m. “Fine pena: ora Dal romanzo allo spettacolo”, a discussion with Paolo Giordano, Mauro Avogadro, and the actors Sergio Leone and Paolo Pierobon. On Thursday 23 November, the new lighting for the Teatro Strehler, designed by the studio CastagnaRavelli and created with the contribution of iGuzzini, will be inaugurated at 6.30 p.m.
On Friday 24 November at 6 p.m. at the Teatro Studio Melato, the #Strehler20
celebrations continue with “Strehler and Čechov”, and event to examine Strehler’s relationship with Chekhov’s writings, with the participation of actors and artists who worked with the director, with film excerpts, readings and live music. The weekend brings the journeys through the Teatro Strehler with “Alla caccia del Teatro - Benvenuti al Piccolo”: two explorer-actors will lead you in search of the “Teasoro dell’Arte”.
