Following Shakespeare’s Midsummer night’s dream, the company led by Giuseppe Scutellà, composed of young inmates from the juvenile prison of Beccaria in Milan, the actors from the Puntozero company and apprentice scenographers, costume designers, property masters and sound technicians, returns to the Piccolo. 
It is this form of collaboration which is the first special characteristic of the play, a unicum which brings together art and technique, moments of play and of professionalism, and which offers the opportunity of future careers for the young protagonists.
The second characteristic concerns Sophocles’s work: a celebration of the humane sense of pity of a woman, Antigone, who risks her life by standing up against the intimidation of Creon, the tyrannical ruler of Thebes, and fights for the right to bury her brother.
