Duration: 50 minutes without interval

Esemplari Femminili is the end result in a process of research on the theme of femininity which emerged from the collaboration between Francesca Penzo, an Italian choreographer and performer, and Tamar Grosz, an Israeli choreographer and performer, enriched by the Italian sign language performer Rita Mazza.
The work is the result of the desire to understand the various aspects which enrich the female sex, and what it means for two women to be such in contemporary society. Through the metaphor of a documentary, two women allow themselves to be observed, and reveal the dynamics of a world in which they live on a daily basis. Theirs is a declaration of femininity and existence, an evolution in their being women.
Following a light-hearted and exuberant beginning, the examination becomes more intimate and reflective, with a physical and emotional tension that leads to a dreamlike landscape.
