An experience of choreographic styles, movement techniques and expressive qualities; the annual appointment at the Piccolo for the pupils of the Accademia Ballet School, directed by Frédéric Olivieri, is a constantly evolving emotion.
For 2024, the performance is, as always, a precious opportunity that allows the young dancers to take on classical, neoclassical, and contemporary works, having been trained for a professional life to master a wide range of techniques and styles. The encounter with the great masters of past and present can only service to enhance what they have already achieved; the names Balanchine, Béjart, Ek, Forsythe, Kylián, Petit and Preljocaj represent the range of skills that the pupils are called on to learn and perfect during their studies.
