A snowstorm in the Teatro Strehler: SLAVA’S SNOWSHOW, a unique and unmissable masterpiece that fills children and adults with delight. Poetry, emotion, laughter, tenderness, the warmth of being together while the winter ranges outside... in the company of Asisyai, a gentle clown dressed in yellow, with all the characters created by Slava Polunin.

Teatro Strehler
SLAVA’S SNOWSHOW returns to the Teatro Strehler with a special “Olympic version” in celebration of Milan Cortina 2026.
«I see this show as my child... it makes me laugh and it moves me to tears. It has allowed me to discover more about myself.» This is how Slava Polunin describes his SNOWSHOW, the show with which he has filling theatres worldwide with snow since 1993.
«One day – he explains – I understood that I wanted to create a show which could transport us back into our childhood dreams, which could help people rediscover their infancy... I wanted my character to be epic and lyrical, tender and overwhelming, smart and naive.»
A native of Siberia, he understood that the originality of his show lay in the element that has accompanied his since birth, the snow. Drawing inspiration on the landscape and the stories of his native land, he has created a performance in which poetry and special effects are blended to perfection; a series of scenes, “numbers” and images, each more original and surprising than the last.
Fanciful, lyrical, ironic, universal and timeless, with a touch of melancholy here and there, SLAVA’S SNOWSHOW is the show with the very best of SLAVA, the Russian clown who draws inspiration from, among others, Marcel Marceau, Charlie Chaplin and Italy’s own Totò. The result is an incredible and unexpected evening that charms younger viewers and takes adults back to the wonders of their childhood.

A show recommended for audiences over the age of 8
