Putéca Celidònia is a theatrical company created in 2018 by six young actors who trained at the Teatro Stabile of Naples School, (Clara Bocchino, Marialuisa Diletta Bosso, Emanuele D’Errico, Teresa Raiano, Dario Rea and Umberto Salvato), and who have deep roots in the Sanità district of Naples, where they manage two properties confiscated from the camorra. Within the spaces in the Sanità district, Putéca creates the format “A voce d’o vico” (the voice of the lane); theatre and music that converse with each other from their respective facing balconies. The company also conducts a theatrical workshop for local children, which has led to the creation of the play Non c’è differenza tra me e il mondo (2020). Putéca Celidònia won the Giovani Realtà del Teatro 2019 Award with the project Dall’altra parte. 2+2 = ?, as well as the ANCT 2020 critics’ award.
